Thinking about time...
Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend.

The future is something which everyone reaches at the rate of 60 minutes an hour, whatever he does, whoever he is.
C. S. Lewis

Quotes in Time...

 Take Account of Your Life....

"In time, it it not how much we have....it's how much we appreciate what we have. Take account of the blessings in your life: your family, your friends, your health. You my friend are wealthy beyond the dreams of of most."   Wayne Warrington - September 1st, 2010

 The Passing of a Friend....

"When we lose someone, when it is their final day, lest we not forgot that our time here on earth is nothing more than a speck of time when compared to Eternity."  - Wayne Warrington 2010

  Life Lessons....

"As time passes there can be wisdom heard through our words and our words can change lives. The question is.....do we listen to our own words of wisdom? If so, this is the true lesson of life. - Wayne Warrington 2010

 Creating the World of Tomorrow....

A person's mind, as it embraces a new idea, can never return to its previous state of limitation. So open your minds to new thoughts, new ideas, without limitation and help create the world of tomorrow.  Wayne Warrington 2010

  Defining ourselves over time....

"For it is truly the difficult times in life that define who we are inside." - Wayne Warrington 2009

  An Idea in Time
 "
There is one thing stronger than all the world, and that is an idea whose time has come."   - Victor Hugo

 My thoughts on that!
For me, the idea whose time has come is this. It is time for all of God's children to come together in unity and not separated by the four walls of interpretation.

The church model of yesterday has benefited many and will certainly continue to serve its purpose in the future. However, its time has passed. We can no longer be complacent with the condition of our world and the chain of events which has brought us to this place. As I hear from people across the country, all feeling the same way, I truly see an idea whose time has come.  And it is this....

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself.  All the rest will certainly fall into place.

Winner vs. Loser
Throughout time people ask what the difference is between a winner and a loser. What makes you a winner vs. a loser.  In the simplest of answers it is how someone reacts to individual events in life at the moment they occurs.

Meaning...

 When you are faced with adversity... do you back down or stand up?

 When you are confronted by failure do you claim it and turn it around to a victory, or accept it as the obvious outcome of all your endeavors.

 When someone says and does something to you that could be taken as an attack or slap in the face, do you immediately strike back or do you consider other possible reasons for their comment or actions which in fact could have been constructive or positive?

 When life delivers to you a bag of lemons do you complain of the limitation you see in front of you, or do you turn the lemons into lemonade?

To this end, here is one of my favorite quotes which can provide direction to us all when faced with a decision as to how to respond to life as it unfolds.

The Winner - is always part of the answer;
The Loser - is always part of the problem;

The Winner -always has a program;
The Loser - always has an excuse;

The Winner - says "Let me do it for you;.
The Loser - says "That's not my job;"

The Winner - sees an answer for every problem;
The Loser - see a problem for every answer;

The Winner - ignores failures;
The Loser - expects failure to occur;

The Winner - surrounds himself with positive people;
The Loser - listens contently to negative commentary;

The Winner - jumps at opportunity with both feet hitting the ground running;
The Loser - looks on from the grandstand;

The Winner - says "It may be difficult but it's possible;"
The Loser - says "It may be possible but it's too difficult;"

The Winner - looks for the truth in every situation;
The Loser - lets their feelings and other people’s opinions make up their minds;

The Winner - creates value;
The Loser - just enjoys the value;

The Winner - talks solutions and takes action;
The Loser - talk problems and does nothing;

The Winner - takes a new business idea and builds on it daily;
The Loser - waits for idea to be launched by his competitor;

Being a Winner requires hard work;
Being a Loser requires no effort at all.

Be a WINNER!  It is an OPTION you know!

  A Man's Heart

A man's heart, once touched by a woman's love can open and grow. However, a man's heart, once touched by God's love, never reflects its original limitations."
